John S. Clark, Pharm.D., MS, BCPS, FASHP practices, teaches, and researches in pharmacy practice management and leadership. He is the Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer at Michigan Medicine and Clinical Associate Professor, University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. Additionally, he is the PGY-1/2 Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency Director. He has been the residency program director for over 120 pharmacy residents and visited 35 sites as an ASHP practitioner surveyor. At Michigan Medicine, John is responsible for acute care clinical and distribution pharmacy practice, education and professional development, and medication use system technology. He is a past chair of the ASHP Commission on Credentialing, has been president of the Michigan Society of Health-System Pharmacy, and is currently on the Michigan Pharmacist Association Board of Directors. He has contributed to pharmacy practice through numerous publications, presentations, and volunteering. John graduated from the University of Toledo College of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration Residency from the University of Wisconsin with a Master of Science Degree.
