Alexis Hyman is a third-year pharmacy student attending Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy in conjunction with the Rawls College of Business for her Masters in Business Administration. She is also currently employed as a Pharmacy Intern at Hendrick Health Medical Center in Abilene, TX. In addition to work and school, she serves as: Student Government Association Campus President, Phi Lambda Sigma Campus Vice President, Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists Campus Community Service Chair, and Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity Inc. Chapter of Epsilon Tau's Vice Regent/Historian/Philanthropy Chair. She was accepted to be a 2021 Summer Pharmacy Intern at Carilion Clinic which is where and when her research on the evaluation of tocilizumab in COVID-19 patients took place. Upon graduation in 2023, Alexis would like to continue her professional growth and pursue a PGY1 then a PGY2 residency in one of these interest areas: solid organ transplant, emergency medicine, crtical care, or administration/management.
