With over 20 years of combined experience in cybersecurity and journalism, Kate Fazzini is a dynamic leader passionate about protecting and recovering assets from cybercrime and wire fraud. As the CEO of Blueline Recoveries, she spearheads a team of experts dedicated to facilitating the recovery of funds lost to business email compromise and other forms of wire fraud, employing cutting-edge technology and proven strategies.
In addition to her role at Blueline Recoveries, Kate leverages her expertise as an adjunct professor at Yeshiva University and Georgetown University. At these esteemed institutions, she teaches courses on cyberwarfare, leadership, and cyberthreats, contributing to the education and empowerment of future cybersecurity professionals.
Kate's commitment to advancing cybersecurity extends beyond the classroom. She serves as a board member of ERI, the nation's leading electronics recycler, where she advocates for environmentally sound and secure data destruction.
Prior to her current roles, Kate has held influential positions in cybersecurity journalism, serving as a cybersecurity reporter for CNBC and The Wall Street Journal. Her in-depth coverage of cyberattacks, data breaches, and national security issues has earned her widespread recognition and respect in the industry.
With a Master's degree in Cybersecurity from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from The Ohio State University, Kate brings a unique blend of technical expertise and communication skills to her work.
