Dr. Trujillo has achieved the distinction, fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine and American Society of Health-System Pharmacist (ASHP). Dr. Trujillo also has put significant effort in developing and expanding residency training. Within IU Health he has increased the residency program from 6 residents to over 30 residents. He has been active as a practitioner surveyor for ASHP residency accreditations services. In addition, he serves as conference coordinator for Great Lakes Pharmacy Resident Conference since 2002. In his tenure as director of pharmacy, he has been responsible for expanding pharmacy services to multiple new service lines. Dr. Trujillo has served as the chair of the ASHP Council of Pharmacy Practice Currently, he serves as past-chair, ASHP / APCE Pharmacy Technician Accreditation Commission and is an Indiana delegate to the ASHP House of Delegates.
