Practice achievement: Dr. Schaafsma is an active leader in promoting pharmacy practice at the state and national level within the profession. She has a passion for practice model advancement through advanced technician roles, technology and team-driven innovation to optimize patient safety and workflow efficiency. She has advanced training for pharmacy leaders in addition to pharmacy residency and intern programs. As an active member in the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin, ASHP, and Vizient Pharmacy Network throughout her career, she strives to improve healthcare delivery thorugh the advancement of the pharmacy workforce.
