Carrie Dunford is the Chief Pharmacy Officer and Vice President of Clinical Services at Intermountain Healthcare. She is responsible for leading enterprise pharmacy services for acute, ambulatory, community, home delivery, and specialty pharmacy as well as Pain Services. Intermountain Health employs a clinical shared services model across the Intermountain enterprise which provides care to patients in seven states.
Carrie earned a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Utah. She earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Idaho State University. Carrie also earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Governors University. Carrie has more than 20 years of pharmacy experience with expertise in clinical pharmacy, pharmacy operations, and regulatory compliance. She is currently a pharmacist on the Utah State Board of Pharmacy and served as the Chairperson from 2020 to 2023. Carrie lives with her husband and two sons in South Jordan, Utah. In her free time, Carrie enjoys the mountains of Utah, specifically Bear Lake and Fairview boating and snowmobiling.
