Chelsee Jensen is a Senior Pharmacy Specialist and works as a Pharmaceutical Formulary Manager within the Division of Supply Chain Management managing several specialty task forces at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Jensen is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, Assistant Professor of Pharmacy and Oncology at Mayo Clinic, and a Gold level quality academy fellow. Dr. Jensen has specialized certifications in Pharmacy Revenue Cycle Management, Comparative Effectiveness Research and Decision Making, and Agile Project Management.
After completing her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2012 she has worked in various roles at Mayo Clinic during her tenure. In her current role she has been instrumental in optimizing biosimilar conversion across the Mayo Clinic enterprise and continues to be involved in tracking biosimilar conversion, financial implications, and reimbursement.
Dr. Jensen’s professional interests include Quality Improvement, drug shortage mitigation and management, pharmaceutical pricing trends, and healthcare expenditure reduction. She has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts in various journals including Mayo Clinic Proceedings, American Journal of Managed Care, BMJ Health & Care Informatics, JCO Oncology Practice, JAMA Network Open, and The Annals of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She has prestented Mayo Clinic’s biosimilar work at various meetings. Dr. Jensen is actively a member of the Hematology/Oncology Pharmacy Association and the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy.
