Susan M. Flaker, PharmD, MBA (she/her/hers)

Susan Flaker is the Regional Director of pharmacy for Mayo Clinic Health System in the South East Minnestoa Region. She received her doctor of pharmacy from the University of Health Schiences and Pharmacy in St Louis Missouri, Masters of Business Administration from Webster University as well as completing of DPLA, ASHP's leadership academy. She helped establish Mayo Clinic's group to manage medication shortage and is currently working on programs to assist with flu vaccination ordering process and establishing clinic ordering based on medication administration. Susan has done extensive work with evaluating ways to improve pharmacy fiances for Mayo Clinic and Mayo Clinic Health System. In addition Susan has done extensive work with Pharmacy AI. Working on projects to improve medication adherance, verfication of medications and inventory managment through the use of AI. In addition Susan has been awarded an ASHP foundation grant to study the use of a verification decsion support tool for order verification.
